Hello - I just don't see what the big deal about gardasil is.
The patented Kodemistro Outline:
a.) Mothers, your daughters will have sex, get over it . Don't you want them to? Wouldn't you rather them be responsible about it, knowing they have this STD vaccine ahead of time, because responsibility is important - No, you'd rather they'd be ignorant, right?
b.) Read that article - 300 - 500 thousand deaths a year from cervical cancer. Gardisal will prevent 70% of those... that is 210 - 350 thousand deaths a YEAR. Seems like quite the sacrifice because you're in denial about your daughter's sex life.
c.) Perhaps if the vaccine is successful in sales, it will push the drug companies to develop other STD vaccines. Wouldn't you like to see vaccines for Herpes, Syphilis, etc?
d.) I think it is time we all realize that America's puritanical culture and fear of talking about issues openly is pretty much killing us slowly. Not talking about it means ignorance, irresponsibility. Talk to your children about it, let them know it is OK to be open, to be responsible. Then, perhaps when they go to have sex, they'll actually talk to their partner about it, actually discuss it as a choice - wow, what an idea??? and you would have taught them that -
